Located in Knoxville, Tennessee, Kelso Oil Company was founded in 1949 as a home heating oil company. With a concern for our customers and a commitment to excellence, Kelso Oil has grown to be the leading wholesale petroleum products distributor in East Tennessee. Our lubricant products include motor oils, commercial and industrial lubricants, greases, cutting oils, antifreeze, and a full range of commercial and industrial filters. We also distribute a complete line of fuels including gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and heating oil. We service both private and public sectors throughout eastern Tennessee, southeastern Kentucky, southwestern Virginia, and northern Georgia.

Kelso Oil Company is a licensed distributor and packager for many of the industry leading suppliers. We have invested over $1.5 million in bulk and package inventories to meet our customer needs. To store our large bulk inventory, Kelso utilizes dedicated tanks, pumps, and lines for each specific product family to minimize the possibility of cross-product contamination. We operate a large fleet of tractor-trailers, tank wagons, box trucks, and fuel tankers to ensure timely delivery of our products. Our regularly scheduled deliveries service our market in a consistent, efficient manner.

We are proud to be a third generation company. A large part of our growth over the past 50 years results directly from the commitment of our associates. We have eight fuel and lubrication sales specialists with over 150+ years of industry experience. Our remaining 40+ associates, many of whom have been with Kelso for over fifteen years, strive daily to improve our capability to serve our customers.
